Hydra
Hydras are colossal, serpentine beasts that dwell in the deepest reaches of Devil’s Marsh within Elix Forest. Each Hydra is born from a violent confluence of Primal Chaos and Nature Essence, fusing regeneration, adaptability, and destructive magical aptitude into one creature. They possess anywhere from three to twelve heads, each capable of independently channeling a different Ancient-Class Core Magic. Their temperament ranges from patient predation to berserk territorial dominance. In Devil’s Marsh, few creatures rival them; even lesser dragons avoid these swamps when the waters rise and the Hydra’s calls echo.
Elder Hydra
Elder Hydras are ancient evolutions of their lesser kin—colossal entities worshipped, feared, or sealed by civilizations long lost. Dwelling deep within the core wetlands of Devil’s Marsh, these creatures measure up to three times the size of common Hydras and possess thirteen to fifty-one heads, each wielding Primal-Class Magic. Their pale, thickened scales and enormous regenerative capacity render them almost indestructible; even dragons avoid their domains. When one awakens, the marsh trembles, storms spiral, and Essence Wells convulse
